Here’s what on offer for you and your family…
Communal Kitchen | Whare kai
We have designed our kitchen space to be kid friendly and have everything needed to support you nourishing your family. We have an adults only kitchen with everything needed to cook, and a family space attached to make smoothies, toasties, heat up one of the precooked meals to make life easier and feel like you’ve got out as a family. Feel free to host pot luck dinner’s with your family and friends, or attend a family style cooking class event, the ideas for this space will evolve!
The kitchen is well stocked, and based on the koha idea - give what you can for what you eat. Let’s break down the barrier of profit based or transactional eating spaces and make this special.

Our spacious outdoor deck is a vibrant hub for all ages. It’s perfect for enjoying fresh air while taking part in seasonal gatherings, outdoor yoga, community barbecues, and more. For children, there are dedicated areas for water play and climbing activities to keep them active and engaged or just to read your kids a book in a different place than home. For those seeking a quieter moment, our peaceful zen garden offers a calm space to relax and unwind. At the heart of our centre are our kaitiaki—the guardians of the space—who are always on hand to offer guidance, support, and a friendly face. They help connect visitors with resources, answer questions, and explain how the centre operates. Whether you're new to the space or a long-time community member, our kaitiaki ensure everyone feels welcome, informed, and included.
